I am God but so also are you.

Sathya Sai Baba

He also mentioned about his mission, "I have come to light the lamp of love in your hearts, to see that it shines day by day with added luster. I have come to tell you of this universal, unitary faith, this spiritual principle, this path of love, this duty of love, this obligation to love. Every religion teaches man to fill his being with the glory of God and to evict the pettiness of conceit. It trains him in the methods of unattachment and discernment, so that he may aim high and attain spiritual liberation. Believe that all hearts are motivated by the one and only God; that all faiths glorify the one and only God; that all names in all languages and all forms man can conceive denote the one and only God. His adoration is best done by means of love. Cultivate that attitude of oneness between men of all creeds and all countries. That is the message of love I bring. That is the message I wish you to take to heart." (July 1968)

Sathya Sai Baba Is born on 23 November 1926 in the small village of Puttaparthi Andhra Pradesh . He has been a profound inspiration for millions of devotees around the world, bringing forth the unique religion of love. He is an avatar, a descent of God on earth, and had in many occasions prove through miracles his unconditional love for Mankind, his omniscience, omnipresence and omnipotence. He said, " No matter where you go always know that I will be there beside you, inside you, guiding you at every step on the way. You are my very own, dearer than dear to Me, I will protect you as the eyelid protects the eye".

As an avatar, his presence in our daily life has been for many of us an incredible experience through divinity, a direct proof of the all pervading divine self. : “I am God but so also are you. The only difference is that I know I am God while you do not.” His mission has been without pomp or publicity. Despite many devotees visiting his ashram, there was always simplicity in his endeavor with an all encompassing love for all. All his projects: a free super specialty hospital in Puttaparthi and Bangalore, a free university of highest standard for boys and girls , distribution of water in Rayalaseema district of Andhra Pradesh and renovation of a canal to Chennai etc.. has been part of his constant love and care for mankind.

His life has been his message as he often says, but foremost was his unconditional love, a promise to liberation for the spiritual seekers, a promise of bliss, a recognition of our divine self.

He left his body the 24 April 2011. But his presence beyond form, has been ever present around us. Many witnessed his incredible leelas since then. An ever present lord, ever living, ever loving.
